In keeping with our long time theme of “Discovering Your Own Backyard” join us for our Canadian Maritimes tour.  Capture the history and magic of these picturesque provinces. Learn about their past and revel in their magnificent scenery. Our tour begins and ends in Halifax. Learn the fascinating history of Halifax on a gentle walking tour; visit the Immigration Museum; explore the Cabot Trail; ferry to PEI; see Lucy Montgomery’s beloved character, Anne of Green Gables come to life as we visit her home and enjoy a production of “Anne the Musical”. Marvel at nature’s phenomena at the Hopewell Rocks in New Brunswick and drive through small fishing villages, such as 17th century Lunenburg, that dot Nova Scotia’s south shore. Accommodation includes Digby Pines Resort, home of the world renowned Digby scallops, and enjoy the beauty of the 1920's White Pine Resort near Liverpool.   NEW:  An extra day in Digby has been added

Visit other Haida artists including an in-depth tour of the Haida Heritage Centre.  A zodiac whisks you away to an abandoned Haida site for a nature walk with a local interpretive guide, a Haida Feast and enough free time so that you can drink up the local culture of this historic area.  Fly from Sandspit to Vancouver. Depart for Vancouver Island via BC Ferries to Nanaimo. Our first stop is at a tea farm in Westholme where you will enjoy an informative presentation along with a cup of tea and a sweet pairing.  On this "Stay'n'Play" getaway your accommodations will be at Oceanfront Suites at Cowichan Bay - conveniently located just steps away from the quaint seaside village of Cowichan Bay.  This resort features newly renovated one bedroom suites overlooking the ocean. Over the next three days we will explore the backroads of Cowichan Bay, Cobble Hill, and Mill Bay, and visit many beautiful spots including a lavender farm, several wineries, a cidery, and an evening boat tour of the bay.
