A rare opportunity to view grizzly bears in their natural habitat.  Knight Inlet is home to one of the largest concentrations of grizzly bears in North America.  Whales and eagles are also in abundance, making this a nature lover’s dream come true.  Port McNeill is our home for four nights.  Group is limited to 20 passengers.

Upon arrival on Vancouver Island proceed to Chemainus, "the Little Town that Could", and spend time browsing the interesting shops and view the murals depicting the early days of this unique town.  Mid afternoon check-in to the Best Western Festival Inn.  Proceed to the Chemainus Theatre for Rock Legends: the Sequel to Twist and ShoutThis lively show is a tribute to the Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers, The Monkees, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Sonny & Cher, and many more incredible artists!  Day Two visit Qualicum Beach and the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks at Morning Star Farms.  Sample cheese and wine from the MooBerry Winery.  What a delightful short getaway!

Islands of the Salish Sea

Featuring: Salt Spring Island, Sidney, San Juan Islands.  Explore your own backyard with Ageless Adventure Tours beginning with a ferry ride from Tsawassen to Salt Spring Island, part of BC's Southern Gulf Islands. Enjoy an included lunch and time to wander the quaint town of Ganges. Then its on to Sidney on Vancouver Island, known as Sidney-by-the-Sea.  We will spend two nights at the beautiful Sidney Pier Hotel. Board a small walk-on ferry to explore and have lunch at Sidney Spit. Experience the beauty and curiosity of a tropical jungle up close at Victoria's Butterfly Gardens. Continue the discovery of the Salish Sea with a Washington State Ferry through the scenic San Juan Islands to Friday Harbor.  Explore this picturesque island by coach and enjoy a two night stay. Our last day we will depart Friday Harbor for Fidalgo Island, passing through more of the stunning San Juan Islands. A coach tour including breathtaking Deception Pass and lunch in the town of Anacortes will be a lovely end to this getaway.
