Upon arrival on Vancouver Island proceed to Chemainus, "the Little Town that Could", and spend time browsing the interesting shops and view the murals depicting the early days of this unique town.  Mid afternoon check-in to the Best Western Festival Inn.  Proceed to the Chemainus Theatre for Rock Legends: the Sequel to Twist and ShoutThis lively show is a tribute to the Beach Boys, The Everly Brothers, The Monkees, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Sonny & Cher, and many more incredible artists!  Day Two visit Qualicum Beach and the Little Qualicum Cheeseworks at Morning Star Farms.  Sample cheese and wine from the MooBerry Winery.  What a delightful short getaway!

Kettle Valley Railway & Wineries

A unique ninety-minute journey on one of British Columbia's few remaining fully operational steam railways. Passengers enjoy a tour along a preserved ten-kilometre section of the original Kettle Valley Railway constructed between 1910 and 1915. Tour highlights:  Dinner & wine tasting at the Hillside Winery, Summerland Sweets, Kettle Valley Railway, three nights at the Penticton Lakeside Resort, Nk' Mip Desert Centre, Osoyoos Golf & Country.  NEW: This is now a four day tour. Wineries and exploring have been added to the third day by request.

Leavenworth "Sound of Music"

Perhaps the most popular production in Washington State history.  The annual production of "The Sound of Music" is a Bavarian Village classic.  The sun falls behind the ridge, the moon rises over the valley, and Maria descends the hillside, singing "The Hills are Alive".  Truly an event not to be missed.  Join us at the stunning Ski Hill Amphitheater for this unique Leavenworth experience.  This trip includes two nights accommodation in Leavenworth and a hayride/BBQ at the Red Tail Canyon.

Walla Walla Washington Wine

St. Helens.   Travel south to the Yakima Valley in the heart of Washington's first appellation during the fall grape harvest. Travel through Yakima's rural countryside. Most wineries here are small family operations where unpretentious hospitality is the norm. The beauty of the area is unparalleled.  You can enjoy a glass of wine while gazing at the beautiful snow capped Mt. Adams during our visit to two unique wineries. Walla Walla is internationally recognized for its production of award winning red wines. Always closely linked to farming, the Walla Walla Valley has over 1,800 acres of grapes growing next to fruit orchards and wheat fields. Highlights include: the Columbia River Gorge; Multnomah Falls; with the final destination at the Heathman Lodge in downtown Vancouver, Washington. En route to BC the highlight of the day is a visit to the Chihuly Garden & Glass in Seattle.
